Thanks for your interest in The Art of Nursing. With so many wonderful aspects to the program, I am sure that a few questions are coming up for you. Here are a few we have received from your nursing colleagues. Q: How can I participate in the event? What do I need to ensure I can access the materials?

A: Great question. Any nurse, nursing student, or anyone who has an interest in the nursing profession can participate. Click here if you are ready to purchase!

You can also take this to the leadership of your hospital, nursing school, nurses’ association or any other group that brings nurses together. Those organizations can purchase the program as a gift to the nurses and nursing students of that organization. Click here for more details.

Once I purchase The Art of Nursing program, what happens?

A: If you are an individual, you will register for the program online. Simply click on HERE to be redirected to the registration page. Once you have filled in your personal information, you will pay via PayPal using either your PayPal account or a credit/debit card. Once your form is submitted and the payment has been processed your registration is complete. As part of the registration process, you will also be added to the AON series mailing list that will ensure you receive important messages about the AON program throughout the series.

Shortly after paying (this may take up to half an hour to fully process), you’ll receive a confirmation email sent to the email address  that you entered in your registration form. The email will include your user name, password, and the login link that you will use to access the AON program online.  Click on the registration link in your email (or on Log In directly on the AON website menu) and enter your new login and password information. Upon login, your will automatically be directed to the AON program Dashboard that will give you access to all of the daily events and videos for the program. You can also access the AON workbook and other supporting materials from the sidebar menu on the dashboard.

A: If you are an affiliated with an organization, you will register for the program online. Your organization will provide you with a custom link to a private registration page. When you receive the link, complete the registration form. Once your form is submitted your registration is complete.  As part of the registration process, you will also be added to the AON series mailing list that will ensure you receive important messages about the AON program throughout the series.

Q: This program sounds neat, but I’m not sure I can afford it. What’s included with my ticket purchase?

A: Totally understandable. I know you’ve got lots of responsibilities and competing priorities in your busy life. So let me share with you all of the awesome details of what’s included:

  • A PDF Workbook chock-full of speaker notes, articles, inspirational exercise and more! (Valued at $97.00)
  • Downloadable videos and audios of the week’s events (over eight hours of content valued at $997.00)
  • Certificate of Completion for 9 nursing continuing education contact hours (for those who complete all of the necessary requirements by August 31, 2018)

Q: I have been having to work double shifts and don’t know if the 4 days will work for me. How long do I have to complete the workbook in order to get the CNEs? Will the live discussions with those taking the course also be available to watch later?

A: The workbook is yours to keep forever. It also has nothing to do with the CNEs. In order to get nine contact hours you have to: sign the attestation form, watch 12 webinars on your own time and fill out the 12 surveys that follow, and then complete the course evaluation. All before August 31. The live discussions are yours to download, save and keep as long as you like. And please note- partial credit is available for the videos that you are able to participate in.

Q: What day is The Art of Nursing program? I want to check my work schedule to see if I can attend.

A: Great question. While the ‘live’ program runs May 7-10, everything is recorded. So, there are 3 unique thirty minute videos that are released on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. With your registration you get to download, save and view these at any time that works for you. The live wrap up calls are at 7 pm Eastern each night and again, if you can attend live great. If not, you can always catch the replay.

Q: I’m a busy nurse and not sure I have the time to participate. It sounds like a nice program, but what if I miss a webinar or two?

 

A: No worries. We know you’re busy; that’s why we’ve created this program in a way that’s easily accessible and convenient for you. Each of the speaker interviews will be released as stated on the event schedule.

Once released they are yours to download, save, and keep forever. This way you can watch the videos and listen to the conference calls on your own time. However, you’ll want to download them prior to August 31, 2018 as the videos will be removed from the web after that date.

Q: I saw something on the site that referred to Continuing Nursing Education (CNEs); what is that about?
As an added bonus, This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation . For more information regarding contact hours, please contact Elizabeth Scala, MSN/MBA, RN at info (at) artofnursing (dot) com.
Q. Wow. The Art of Nursing looks like an awesome event, with such dynamic speakers. The price looks great for 9 CNEs. My problem is I just don’t know if I can commit for 4 days. I mean, I would love to log in live, but can I do this at my own pace?

A: You will have access to everything during and after the event. That means 12 video webinars, 4 wrap up conference calls and the PDF workbook. You can download and save to your personal device. Just to note, the ‘Live’ access will come down on August 31, 2018.
